But recall the former days when, after you were enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings, sometimes being publicly exposed to reproach and affliction, and sometimes being partners with those so treated.( ESV)

Questions to Consider:

1. What are some past instances when you received direction for your life that you knew was from God?
2. Were you bombarded with negative thoughts and pressures that tried to make you doubt the direction God gave you? How did you react?
3. 3.In the future, how can you respond according to the Word when these negative thoughts and pressures come against God’s direction for your life?
