Isaiah 10:15

Is the axe greater than the one who wields it? Is the saw greater than the one who cuts with it? Can the axe strike without a hand to move it?  Can a lifeless wooden cane walk by itself? (The Passion Translation)

 

Why is it that the creation thinks it's greater than the Creator? In Him we live and have our being. We are nothing without God. Prophecy, miracles, and faith are impossible without Him.  Repent today for thinking that you have because of your own doing.

David said in Psalm 124:2-4, "If it had not been for the Lord who was on our side when people rose up against us, then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their anger was kindled against us; then the flood would have swept us away, the torrent would have gone over us; then over us would have gone the raging waters." (ESV)
