Luke 3:21-22
Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heavens were opened, and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.” (ESV)
Prayer is not meant to be a duty or a ritual, but an exciting adventure in our relationship with God to help us engage with the world.
‘Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.’ (Matthew 7:7–8)

1 John 4:15-16
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. (NASB)

1 Corinthians 16:8-9
But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. (ESV)
For the time being, Paul intended to stay in the ministry at Ephesus, where the opportunities and the opposition were both great. One or the other of these situations may have arisen while he was writing this letter (cf. 4:19). It says something about Paul’s perception of his ministry that the presence of opposition was a sign to him of the viability of his labor and reason for pressing on, not running away.

Luke 19:5-7
When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. “Zacchaeus!” he said. “Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.” Zacchaeus quickly climbed down and took Jesus to his house in great excitement and joy. But the people were displeased. “He has gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner,” they grumbled. (NLT)

Deuteronomy 30:1-11
“So it shall be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind in all nations where the Lord your God has banished you, and you return to the Lord your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, then the Lord your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. If your outcasts are at the ends of the earth, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you back. The Lord your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. “Moreover the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live. The Lord your God will inflict all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. And you shall again obey the Lord, and observe all His commandments which I command you today. Then the Lord your God will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hand, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your cattle and in the produce of your ground, for the Lord will again rejoice over you for good, just as He rejoiced over your fathers; if you obey the Lord your God to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul. “For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach. Ephesians 5:15-16
Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Amplified Bible
Make a quick mental list of the things you really value. Undoubtedly, your list would include your loved ones, home, church, and perhaps a few other possessions. Would it also include your time? Paul’s admonition to live carefully, “making the most of every opportunity,” is a reminder of the preciousness of time. Think about it. If someone takes away your money, you may not like it, but you can earn more money. It might be challenging if someone or something takes away your job or even your house, but you can get another job or home. But if something wastes your time, you can never get it back. Those hours or days are gone, never to be retrieved. That makes the time a precious thing indeed. What are you doing with the time God has given you? Are you “making the most of every opportunity,” allowing him to use you and your time as he sees fit?

James 5:16
16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. (NASB)
The Christian’s most powerful resource is communication with God through prayer. It is the instrument of healing and forgiveness and is a mighty weapon for spiritual warfare. The results are often greater than we thought were possible.

James 5:19-20
My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
When someone does wander, the church or Christian community ought to try to bring him back, not for judgment, but for repentance and restoration.

Isaiah 10:15
Is the axe greater than the one who wields it? Is the saw greater than the one who cuts with it? Can the axe strike without a hand to move it? Can a lifeless wooden cane walk by itself? (The Passion Translation)
Why is it that the creation thinks it's greater than the Creator? In Him we live and have our being. We are nothing without God. Prophecy, miracles, and faith are impossible without Him. Repent today for thinking that you have because of your own doing.
David said in Psalm 124:2-4, "If it had not been for the Lord who was on our side when people rose up against us, then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their anger was kindled against us; then the flood would have swept us away, the torrent would have gone over us; then over us would have gone the raging waters." Welcome to the FaithFactor Podcast w/Bishop K
I am Bishop Keifer R. Bradshaw and I know that life has us on the move. This podcast is to inspire you with an uplifting message to encourage you with scripture and a devotional to uplift your day. Time is of the essence these days, that is why each episode is less than ten minutes in duration. It is my pleasure to serve you and my prayer is that God will continue to bless and keep you. For without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He awards those who earnestly seek him.
